RIS has launched a
work programme on India-Central Asia Economic Relations. The work
programme covers preparation of a number of research/policy papers
and organization of seminars. A seminar was organized in
collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Delhi
in October 2003 where some of the in-house studies were presented
along with those by experts from other institutions. RIS and CII
are now bringing out a publication based on these presentations at
the seminar. A follow-up seminar is also proposed to be organized
in Mumbai in 2005. These studies prepared will be further
elaborated and published.
