Garima Dhir is an IBSA fellow at Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS). She is a PhD scholar from Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai. Her academic qualifications include UGC-NET, M.Sc. Economics (IGIDR) and BA (Hons) Business Economics (University of Delhi).
She has been a part of research projects commissioned by DGCI&S and EXIM Bank. She has also provided research assistance in preparing policy briefs for Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. In the corporate sector, she has worked as a Strategic and Analytics Consultant for Spinnaker LLC and as a Manager at Business Intelligence Unit, ICICI Bank. Her research output has been published in various academic journals and edited volumes. Ms. Dhir has presented her work in several prestigious conferences and has participated in many workshops and training programmes, in India and abroad.
