    Amit Kumar

    Dr Amit Kumar is Assistant Professor at Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), New Delhi. He is also Assistant Editor of Asian Biotechnology and Development Review (ABDR), an international, peer-reviewed and open access Journal. He holds a PhD in Science Policy Studies from the Centre for Studies in Science Policy, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India. He has completed his Engineering degree from the University of Delhi, India. He is involved in various national and international projects within the domain of STS (Science-Technology-Society) policy studies, particularly related to new and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), nanotechnology and modern biotechnologies. He has published papers/articles in number of peer-reviewed journals and contributed chapters in books; apart from preparing reports, policy briefs and discussion papers on related topics. His areas of research interest include SDGs, (especially SDGs 2, 3 and 7), IR 4.0, biodiversity, healthcare, agriculture, science diplomacy, ethics, Socio-Economic impact assessment, technology management and global governance.
