Dr. Shaikh Mohd Mouzam joined Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) as IBSA Fellow in August, 2017. He obtained his PhD in Agricultural Economics (2017) from University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore. His academic qualifications include B.Sc in Agriculture (2011) and M.Sc in Agricultural Economics (2013). His research interest covers a wide range of issues such as agricultural trade and development, impact assessment of Regional Trade Agreements (RTAs) on agricultural and allied sectors which includes impact assessment of tariff and NTBs (SPS and TBT) on agricultural and allied sectors.
His published works includes journal articles, popular articles and also contributions to edited books. He has participated in various national and international conferences conducted by reputed institutions. As a PhD Scholar he received the prestigious DBT-INSPIRE fellowship.
