South Asia Economic Journal

South Asia Economic Journal (SAEJ) is published jointly by the Institute of Policy Studies, Sri Lanka and RIS, India. SAEJ is designed as a forum for informed debate on issue which are of vital importance to the people of South Asia who comprise more than on-sixth of the world's population. The journal is devoted to the economic analysis and policy options aimed at promoting cooperation amongst the countries comprising South Asia. It discusses South Asia's position on global economic issues, its relations with other regional groupings and its response to global developments. A refereed journal, it carries articles by scholars, economic commentators, policymakers and officials, and from both the private and the public sectors.
