Dr. Sneha Sinha is a Consultant at RIS. She joined RIS in February 2020. She holds a Ph.D. in Science Policy from the Centre for Studies in Science Policy, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. As a PhD scholar, she has received fellowships and grants such as the Charles Wallace India Trust, Indian Council of Historical Research and Indian Council of Social Science Research.
At RIS, she works on the RIS Science Diplomacy Programme researches on various aspects of science diplomacy. She is also involved with the editorial process of the Science Diplomacy Review, a multi-disciplinary peer-reviewed journal on science diplomacy and Science Diplomacy News Alert, a fortnightly update on developments in science, technology and science diplomacy published by RIS.
Before joining RIS, she worked with the Director, University Grants Commission (UGC) - Human Resource Development Centre, JNU and facilitated the designing of the SWAYAM ARPIT interdisciplinary refresher course on History of Science and Technology, under the guidance and support of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. She has an M.Phil is Science Policy Studies from Centre for Studies in Science Policy, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. She has done B.A. and M.A in History from Miranda House, University of Delhi.
