Detailed advertisement for the post of Consultant (Outreach and Publication)

RIS, a New Delhi-based autonomous policy research institute that specializes in issues related to international economic development, trade, investment and technology, is envisioned as a forum for fostering effective policy dialogue and capacity-building among developing countries on global and regional economic issues.

RIS invites application from well experienced and qualified candidates for the contractual engagement of a Consultant (Outreach and Publication). Initially, the tenure would be for one year subject to overall review of performance for further continuation.  

Responsibilities:

i)        Designing and implementing outreach strategies for RIS publications and activities.

ii)       Coordinating the editing, production and dissemination of reports, policy briefs, newsletters, and other publications.

iii)      Managing content for RIS website, social media, and other communication platforms.

iv)      Liaising with stakeholders, media, and partner institutions for effective dissemination of approved content.

v)       Assisting in organizing conferences, seminars, and outreach programmes.

vi) Any other task or responsibilities attached to the post

Eligibility and Qualifications:

i)        Post-graduate degree in Social Sciences / International Relations / Communication / Journalism or related field.

ii)       Excellent communication and writing skills.

iii)      Strong editorial and publication management skills.

iv)      Proficiency in digital communication tools, social media management, and content development.

v)       Prior experience in outreach, publication or communication work in a similar  academic / policy research institution will be preferable
