Dr. Anshuman Gupta is currently working as Consultant at RIS. He is working on ‘Trade and Sustainability’, a new work programme of RIS.
After receiving his M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University( JNU), he served as a Professor of Economics in School of Business, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun; Economist in Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASSOCHAM); and faculty member in Hawassa University, Ethiopia, under the UNDP Project. He did many projects sponsored by government institution and published many scholarly books on trade, WTO and Regional Trading Blocs. He published many peer-reviewed research papers in national and international journals of repute. He contributes in financial newspapers like The Economics Times, Business Standard, etc. He has edited two volumes titled, “Energy, Environment and Globalization (2020)” and “Economics and Policy of Energy and Environmental Sustainability (2022)” published by Springer Nature . He is also the recipient of ERASMUS Plus fellowship for faculty exchange of the European Union. He supervised many Ph.D. scholars.Latest Publications (Since 2020)
