Vaasu Aggarwal is a research assistant at RIS with background in economics, holding an M.A. and B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from Ambedkar University Delhi. His research interests lie in financial inclusion, development finance, monetary policy and public policy, with hands-on experience in policy evaluation and macroeconomic analysis.
Vaasu has worked on impact assessment projects for Ministry of Rural Development as a research intern, evaluating the socio-economic benefits of PMAY-G. He has also worked on a project titled "Channel System in Monetary Policy". Vaasu has also contributed in tlarge scale data processing during his stint at the National Informatics Centre, Vaasu's professional journey also includes his tenure as a Research Assistant at the National Economic Forum.
