Advertisement for the Post of Research Assistants (Digital Solutions / Public Health)
DAKSHIN, the Global South Centre of Excellence was launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India as an initiative for sharing development solutions and knowledge among the nations of the Global South. It endeavours to assist relevant stakeholders and partners in the identification, development and implementation of scalable and sustainable solutions that can transform the economies and societies of countries of the Global South.
DAKSHIN invites applications for following posts on contractual basis:
i) Research Assistants (Digital Solutions/Public Health)
The engagement would be purely on a contractual basis initially for a period of one year, which could be extended depending upon a comprehensive review of the overall performance of the incumbent and future requirements of RIS.
Research Assistant (Digital Solutions)
Master’s Degree in:
- Information Technology / Computer Applications / Digital Systems / Data Science / Engineering or any relevant discipline with demonstrable policy research orientation.
Research Assistant (Public Health)
Master’s Degree in:
- Public Health / Health Economics / Social Sciences / Development Studies / Epidemiology or any relevant discipline related to public policy and health systems
General Requirement:
Candidates must possess strong communication skills, innovative thinking, combined with ability to apply contemporary knowledge and developments to policy-relevant research studies, and be fully committed to completing assigned tasks in a time-bound manner. Familiarity with India's health and Ayush ecosystem, traditional medicine policy frameworks, and/or international health governance would be an added advantage.
Remuneration:
The remuneration would commensurate with expertise, qualifications and experience.
