Advertisement for Recruitment of Consultant / Research Assistant (Legal), Consultant / Research Assistant (Economics) and Consultant / Research Assistant (Public Policy)

RIS, a New Delhi-based autonomous policy research institute that specializes in issues related to international economic development, trade, investment and technology,  is envisioned as a forum for fostering effective policy dialogue and capacity-building among developing countries on global and regional economic issues.

RIS invites applications for the following posts on contractual basis:

1.          Consultant / Research Assistant (Legal)
2.          Consultant / Research Assistant (Economics)
3.          Consultant / Research Assistant (Public Policy))

The engagement  would be  purely on a contractual basis initially  for a period of one year, which could be extended depending upon a comprehensive review of the overall performance of the incumbent and future requirements of RIS.

Educational qualifications / experience  for the posts:

A. Consultant / Research Assistant (Legal)

i)       Candidate should possess a LLM/LLB degree from a recognized university.

ii)      Candidate with experience of working with similar research institutions or organizations would be preferred.

B. Consultant / Research Assistant (Economics)

i)       Candidate should possess a Masters’s degree in Economics from a recognized university. Candidates with M.Phil/PhD would be preferred.

ii)      Candidates with experience of working with similar research institutions or organizations  would be preferred.

C. Consultant / Research Assistant (Public Policy)

i)       Candidate should possess a Masters’s degree in Public Policy from a recognized university. Candidates with PhD would be preferred.

ii)      Candidates with experience of working with similar research institutions or organizations would be preferred.

General Requirement:

Candidates must possess strong communication skills, innovative thinking, combined with  ability to apply contemporary knowledge and developments to policy-relevant research studies, and fully committed to complete the assigned tasks in a timebound manner.

Remuneration:

Commensurate with expertise, qualifications and experience.
