Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) is a New Delhi-based autonomous policy research institute that specializes in issues related to international economic development, trade, investment and technology. RIS is envisioned as a forum for fostering effective policy dialogue and capacity-building among developing countries on global and regional economic issues.
RIS invites applications for the following posts on contractual basis:
i) Visiting Fellow, Consultant / Research Assistant (Legal / Economics)
The appointment shall be purely on a contractual basis for a period of one year which could be extended depending upon the performance of the incumbent and future requirements of RIS. The educational / experience qualifications are as follows:
Visiting Fellow
i) The candidate should posses a Postgraduate degree from a recognized university.
ii) PhD Degree is desirable.
iii Experience in relevant field for 10–15 years
iv) Domain expertise
Consultant and Research Assistant (Legal)
i) The candidate should possess a LLM degree from a recognized university. Candidates with M.Phil/PhD would be preferred.
ii) Candidates with experience of working with research institutions would be preferred.
Consultant and Research Assistant (Economics)
i) The candidate should possess a Master’s degree in Economics from a recognized university. Candidates with M.Phil/PhD would be preferred.
ii) Candidates with experience of working with research institutions would be preferred.
Consultant / Research Assistant (Public Policy)
i) Candidate should possess a Master’s degree in Public Policy or relevant discipline from a recognized university. Candidates with M.Phil/PhD would be preferred.
ii) Candidates with experience of working with similar research institutions or organizations would be preferred.
Candidates must possess strong communication skills, innovative thinking, the ability to apply contemporary knowledge to policy-relevant research, and a commitment to work efficiently.
Remuneration:
The remuneration would commensurate with expertise, qualifications and experience.
