Detailed advertisement for the Engagement of Assistant (Logistical Support) at RIS
RIS invites applications from eligible and well experienced candidates for the engagement of an Assistant(Logistical Support) on contractual basis to efficiently and independently handle assigned tasks relating to organization of meetings, workshops, conferences, training programmes, and other official events organised by RIS.
Role and responsibilities:
End-to-end logistical coordination of physical, virtual, and hybrid events, including venue arrangements, vendor liaison (AV, interpretation, IT, branding/printing), travel and protocol support, participant registration and kit distribution, catering coordination, on-ground event support, post-event documentation and bill settlement, and any other related work assigned by the competent authority.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
Minimum Graduate degree from a recognized university/institution. Post graduation would be desirable. - Experience:
Extensive hands on relevant experience in event management/logistics, preferably with government organisations, autonomous bodies, international organisations, academic institutions, or event management agencies. - Skills:
- Strong organizational and coordination skills;
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to get things done.
- Proficiency in MS Office and use of digital communication tools;
- Willingness to work beyond office hours or during holidays in exigencies of work,if required.
Tenure of Engagement
The engagement will be on a contractual basis for an initial period of one year, extendable based on performance and organisational requirements.
Remuneration
All-inclusive consolidated monthly remuneration, well commensurate with qualifications and experience of the selected candidate in accordance with RIS rules and regulations.
