Dr Anupama is a Consultant at RIS, She focuses on aspects relating to emerging technologies’ governance, AI ethics and strategy, bioeconomy, outer space policy and science diplomacy.
She has completed her Ph.D. from the Department of Geopolitics and International Relations (DGIR), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). She holds an M.A. in Geopolitics and International Relations from DGIR, MAHE and a bachelor’s degree in law from the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata.
She co-founded the Trivium Think Tank, which focuses on foreign policy and strategic affairs in 2016. She also serves as Associate Editor, Journal of Asian Security and International Affairs (JASIA). Her articles have been published in renowned journals including F1000 Research, Strategic Analysis and JASIA. Her writings have also appeared in The Diplomat, Modern Diplomacy and The Japan Times. She regularly writes columns for The Sunday Guardian.Publications:
