Prateek Sharma is a Consultant at RIS, where his work focuses on international trade policy, regional trade agreements, and quantitative trade analysis. His current research supports the ASEAN-India Centre (AIC) at RIS through trade potential assessments, tariff and market access analysis, and policy-oriented research. His research interests include international trade, regional economic integration, trade competitiveness, and global value chains. He has contributed to ASEAN-related trade policy, FTA negotiations, export promotion, and provided evidence-based policy support to senior government officials on trade and economic policy matters. He holds an M.A. in Economics from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi.
