Dr Krishna Ravi Srinivas,  is a Consultant at RIS and works on Science, Technology and Innovation Program and Science Diplomacy Program. He holds PhD from National Law School University of India. Bangalore. He is Managing Editor of Asian Biotechnology and Development Review (ABDR) indexed in inter alia, Scopus. It is an international, peer reviewed and open access journal. He edits Science Diplomacy Review, an international journal published by RIS. He does research on and has published extensively on inter alia, governance of AI, IPR and access to medicines, IPR and climate change related innovation, governance of Science, Technology and Innovation(STI), traditional knowledge, governance of emerging technologies , STI for SDGs, RRI, open source seeds, and Science Diplomacy. He has been part of about 10 projects funded by European Commission and European Research Council. He has led research teams for projects funded by UNESCO and FAO. He has been a consultant for inter alia, UNDP and Anthropological Survey of India. He was a Fulbright Fellow at University of Pennsylvania, a Visiting Scholar at Indiana University, Bloomington, Post-Doctoral Fellow at South Center, Geneva and Visiting Faculty, IIM, Bangalore. He is nominated member of international groups/initiatives such as OECD Focus Expert Group on Synthetic Biology and associated with initiatives in Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), and, Technology Assessment. He is an Associate Faculty Fellow, Center for Responsible AI (CeRAI), IIT- Madras.
