Mr. Sauhard Kaushal is a Research Assistant at RIS, working with the ASEAN-India Centre. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, and a Master's in Economics with a specialization in the world economy from the Centre for International Trade and Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University.

His research focuses on trade and investment flows between India and ASEAN. He is currently analyzing bilateral trade patterns, investment trends, and sectoral complementarities to identify new opportunities for economic cooperation. His work also examines policy challenges, including trade barriers, regulatory frameworks, and market access issues, to provide actionable insights for strengthening economic engagement.
