Deepshikha Ganesh is a Senior Research Assistant at the Centre for Maritime Economy and Connectivity (CMEC), RIS. She works on data-driven policy research in maritime economics and international connectivity, supporting policymaking at the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways through research on maritime performance assessment, global benchmarking, infrastructure, and economic corridors to advance India's maritime development agenda under the Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047 and Maritime India Vision 2030. Previously, she worked as a Consultant at the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), contributing to India's environmental-economic accounts, including ocean ecosystem accounts, circular economy, SDG, natural resource valuation-related research. She has also worked with the International Department of the Reserve Bank of India during India's G20 Presidency, NITI Aayog, and the Office of the Registrar General of India. She holds an M.A. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a B.A. in Economics from Miranda House, University of Delhi. Her research interests include maritime economy and connectivity, geoeconomics, international trade, sustainable development, experimental economics, and inequality.
