Before joining RIS, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Studies in Industrial Development (ISID). He completed his Master's in Economics from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi and his Bachelor's in Business Economics from the University of Delhi.
At RIS, Kanishk is actively engaged in applied economic research and empirical analysis in the areas of Trade and Technology, Macroeconomics, Industrial Policy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He has contributed to several substantive publications and policy-oriented research outputs.
